Is real beauty on the outside or the inside? – Part 6

Define “Real Beauty”

Webster defines beauty as “the quality or aggregate of qualities in a person or thing that gives pleasure to the senses or pleasurably exalts the mind or spirit.” Using that as a definition, it would seem that what one sees as beauty, may not, in fact, represent beauty to another.

Therefore a young man in his 20′s may see beauty totally differently from a more mature woman, say in her 60′s. But even the young man may see beauty as a variety of things in a variety of people and not just the automatic reaction of seeing someone who is physically attractive.

Let’s face it, we would all like to have physical beauty, however, we are what we are. So the real question for me becomes, when I see beauty in others, what does that beauty consist of?

Well, any number of things and no one person has to possess all of them in order to have beauty in my eyes. Individual personalities can hold an abundance of beauty. A person with a great since of humor, or someone who is just good and kind to others, one who has a smile for everyone. These (more…)

Where I can go for highlights south tampa area

I was looking for where I can have highlights south tampa area as this is where I lived and the problem with me is that the salon I once went to suddenly closed down and they were the only one I trusted with my own hair as I have had bad experiences with other salons in the past and when I found this one I can trust to do my hair, it suddenly closes down. So that really left me with no choice but to do a thorough research, and since I was planning to have a highlight for my hair, or course the option to search online would have to be highlights south tampa and I would prefer a salon near my place, or if they have it, a home service and I am willing to pay up if it means having my hair done really well. And the option I found for this one was called www.tribecasalon.com and I found this was the best in this area and I even saw a post of a friend who was complimenting how good this salon was and how professional and updated the stylists in there were and it would really be a good thing If I can experience that kind of good service. I contacted the site and had a schedule for a home service and I think I am pretty comfortable knowing I have one of the best in this area to service my hair this time around.

Is real beauty on the outside or the inside? – Part 5

Clearly Defined

The superficial is the first aspect of one that catches another’s eye, therefore it is this aspect of a human being that is primarily judged. It is easier to judge one’s outer appearance, so that this form of beauty, outer beauty, is more commonly spoken about than is inner beauty. Outer beauty is easily perceived, and so, it is more often spoken about; instances of outer beauty are more often deemed worthy of our attention, however inner beauty is a more accurate reflection of what beauty is.

However, to me, life is too complex to have its value lessened in finding the easiest methods to define it. In fact, why attempt to define life at all? Why not merely question life as you travel down its labyrinthine roads?

Such questions yield the complexities of inner beauty.

It is highly unlikely that a group of people would yield an identical response to a definition of outer beauty. In fact, the responses would become more varied as the amount of people interrogated grew in number. There can be no ideal form of outer beauty, yet superficiality is a much more popular form of attraction than is inner beauty. Popularity is not always the most (more…)

What defines beauty?

- WHAT DEFINES BEAUTY?-

What defines beauty? That is such a large question; External beauty is transient as a passing breeze. Yet true beauty from within will never age. “Age cannot wither her, nor custom stale her infinite variety”. Therefore I feel that a person’s true beauty is internal and not external. Beauty’, influenced from the old Latin word ‘beatus’, meaning, happy, blessed. Not physically beautiful, but beautiful in characteristics. That is how I define beauty.-

You could define beauty as a flick of the hair, a graceful move, a slender frame. These things are aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but they are superficial qualities of no real consequence. They have impact of that I’m sure. But they have no sustaining importance. They are purely on the surface and have no depth. True beauty is deep within the psyche, the soul, the character, the very being of the person. -

What defines beauty? A beautiful face; But a beautiful face with no true self behind it, is not really beautiful. It is a hollow shell. It is the qualities of the person that define beauty. A true soul, compassion, selflessness, and unawareness of the beauty itself that display true beauty; (more…)

Is real beauty on the outside or the inside? – Part 4

We have all known people who are absolutely gorgeous, but

their only beauty is on the surface. They may be backbiters and gossipers,

or they may be selfish and underhanded. Possibly they’ve learned to

use their looks to get what they want, or to manipulate others. But

their actions are as unlovely as they are lovely. These people may be

admired for their outside, which they cannot take credit for, but no one

really admires them as a person.

Then again, we all have known people who are absolutely gorgeous on the

outside and are kind and understanding, true givers or unselfish.

Both of these hypothetical people have beauty, but one has internal

beauty while the other has only external beauty. The first person’s beauty

may get them a lot of things, but internal beauty, the beauty of a

person who cares about other people, is the true measure of beauty.

We have also all met people who are just plain ugly or somewhat less

than pretty. Some of them have inner beauty and some of them do not.

Obviously, (more…)

Is real beauty on the outside or the inside? – Part 2

“Beauty being the quality of qualities in a person that gives pleasure to the senses or pleasurably exalts the mind or spirit”.

To see beauty is but a beautiful sight.

To hear beauty is but music to my ears.

To smell beauty is but the scent of a rose.

To taste beauty is but a small bite.

To know you is to know real beauty.

It is said that “beauty is more than meets the eye” and it is said that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”.So then real beauty is a perception of the minds eye. A perception we arrive at through the quality of qualities one possesses.

Not one quality alone makes for real beauty. There are many to consider. Does someone have all of the characteristics of beauty? A good heart? A good mind? Is someone friendly and kind ? Are they charismatic? Do they truly possess all of the qualities that you seek in a person to say that they represent real beauty?

Real beauty is an individual observation and it pertains to the qualities that one perceives to be beautiful qualities. What you see to be beautiful is in (more…)

Defining inner beauty

When I look at the models in the newspaper, magazines I ask myself, “Is this all what is called beauty?” My head turns when I see a well dress female, but after that I think the same thing, “Is this all what I know about beauty?” My thoughts go wandering, go spinning, and challenging myself asking for what clue or knowledge about beauty I have. Is it just the outer appearance, the drop dead gorgeous look, the make-up, the expensive wardrobe collection? I have no reasons for the answer I’m going to give, but I’m sure that it isn’t beauty or it isn’t the total knowledge of beauty we have. I’m fooling myself based on the things my eye see, my mind processed and the sight gets pleasure from.

Beauty needs to be developed from the inside. Beauty can be a mother taking her child to school, a guy asking out a girl for a cup of coffee, husband meeting his wife at the airport from a business trip, rain drops falling on the ground, river running up and down the hills, the flowers blooming, the children playing in mud, the boss appreciating his juniors work, a fractured leg fractured no (more…)

Is real beauty on the outside or the inside? – Part 1

Regardless of what we claim a beautiful face or body is going to get our attention. The item in question however is not what beauty we first notice but is real beauty on the in or outside. First, to answer this question you will need to define what beauty is. The meaning will vary from person to person but chances are that each will think of attributes that are not part of the physical body that meets the eye. My own definition of beauty is someone true, honest, bold and proud of whom he or she is. The color of their hair or eyes, how tall they are, or how much they weigh does not matter though it may be the first items another would notice. Following is a closer look at each type of beauty.

Outside beauty plays its part in society no doubt and has an important role. Our outside beauty shows the world how much we take care of our body and health. Our outside beauty can attract others to us or push them away. Outside beauty may determine how approachable we are but once that individual has met us it is our inner beauty that must thrive (more…)

Is real beauty on the outside or the inside? – Part 3

Doubtless to say, real beauty is on the inside of a person. The most beatiful person can be the most cruel person. Character makes up beauty. People struggle so hard, to keep their outside look perfect. They strive for perfection. Its true, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. But having beauty outside, is most often deceptive. The inner calmer you, will definitley reflect on your face. To test if a person is beautiful, have a chat with them. The warmth that flows out of a human being does create a special glow of beauty.

We are all blown away, infact mesmerised with the beauty of the celebrities. How much do we really know about them? The time spent daily to do up a face in order to be accepted in society is killing. Beauty parlours are never out of business. People often judge you by your looks. If you have a pretty face you pass the test. Nobody ever really pays attention to a simple face. If beauty is to be judged correctly and accurately, then the very rules of beauty should be changed. People should learn to look at an individual that radiates beauty from the (more…)

Is real beauty on the outside or the inside?

Outer beauty will not help you create valuable relationships. Outer beauty fades and when you get to sixty and you have very little inner beauty, you will more than likely find yourself to be alone.

Inner beauty is far more radiant than outer beauty. Outer beauty has a minimal life span whereas outer beauty lasts a life time. I find myself drawn to people who care, drawn to people who contain something so priceless such as inner beauty. Some are born with outer and inner beauty, a rare find.

Real beauty is the woman who goes the extra mile for people she cares about, she does not hesitate to help someone in need. Real beauty is unconditional love and forgiveness. Real beauty encourages, uplifts and comforts. Outer beauty is only outer beauty, it cannot do anything but ‘look’ good. Outer beauty has no purpose other than to catch the eye of the beholder.

Real beauty such as inner beauty will surpass outer beauty over and over again. Inner beauty is unlimited and will not fade. Inner beauty touches the heart where as outer beauty does not touch the heart. I ponder on those who pay too much attention to their appearance. There is (more…)
