Every Halloween, my mom used to bake us cupcakes made with black icings and is topped with black spiders and insects. Now that I already have my own children, I wanted to relive those memories that make Halloween memorable for me and my sisters. Baking has been our family tradition especially cupcakes that can be created in different ways. My mom used to love creating cakes from scratches and I personally enjoyed every minute that I helped her create wonderful sweets for our family. I tried my best to encourage my kids to also love baking and during Halloweens we all create scary cupcakes using black food coloring. Since Halloweens are themed events black food colorings are a must in every sweet treats and me and my kids always had fun using this product to make scary looking cakes and cookies. Before with my mom we often than not have a hard time combining colors to have a black base to most of our cakes but now that it is readily available online I can have it shipped whenever I wanted. We also use black food coloring for frosting our Dracula cakes and lollipops. It is actually hard to find and create black food colorings that have the perfect consistency and when I found this online it is just convenient to use during these occasions. I also use it whenever I bake character cupcakes for the eyes and the hair to make it more believable. Being creative is fun especially if you share it with your kids.
