My mother needed to be away for at least three days, and that meant I needed to attend to my little brother of five. He was never a headache anyway, for as long as that stinky blanket was with wrapped around his left wrist. He would just sleep off soundly anyway. I went on screaming and so did my girlfriends. I went for my brother and all five of us were waiting for rescue. The neighbors opened their front lawn lights and one of them, Uncle Thomas, was calling out how we were. My brother was just screaming and wailing and I guess that was enough sign that we weren’t. The police arrived immediately and they were able to apprehend the man who was fleeing our property through our neighbor’s fence.
